Replace the buttons with whatever you like
Now that you have removed the top half of the controller, you can start replacing the buttons with what you would like. First, remove the four small black buttons located at the bottom of the controller. Then, take the two large red buttons and place them where you would like them to go. Finally, replace the four smaller white buttons with the ones you want.
You can easily swap out the stock buttons for something more unique. The process is easy enough that anyone can follow along. Just be sure to use a razor blade to cut away the plastic around the button before removing it from the controller.
Reassemble the controller
Once you have finished placing the buttons, reattach the top half of the control panel by pressing down on the back of the controller until it snaps into place.
